City Council on December 4, 5 and 13, 2018, adopted the following: 1. City Council appoint Tracey Cook to the position of Deputy City Manager for the City of Toronto, with such appointment to be effective January 30, 2019, subject to an agreement of employment terms prior to this date, with all the powers and duties imposed upon the Deputy City Manager by Chapter 169, City Officials, of the City of Toronto Municipal Code.

This report recommends the appointment of the individual named in the Confidential Attachment, to the position of Deputy City Manager, Infrastructure & Development Services.

The City Manager recommends that: 1. The candidate identified in Attachment 1 be appointed to the position of Deputy City Manager for the City of Toronto, with such appointment to be effective January 30,2019, subject to an agreement of employment terms prior to this date, with all the powers and duties imposed upon the Deputy City Manager by Chapter 169, City Officials, of the City of Toronto Municipal Code. 2. City Council authorize the City Solicitor to introduce the necessary by-laws to give effect to the recommendation in this report.
