City Council appoint the following candidate to the Toronto Local Appeal Body, who will serve as a public member for a term of office ending on December 17, 2023, and until a successor is appointed: Ana Bassios 2. City Council direct that Confidential Attachments 1 to 5 to the report (November 28, 2019) remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Local Appeal Body.

Candidate's biography: Ana Bassios Ana Bassios is a City Planner with over thirty years of experience in the municipal sector. Ana has led large-scale public consultations, completed major municipal planning policy plans, (including a municipal Official Plan) and negotiated resolutions to contentious development applications. She is a former Commissioner of Planning in the GTA. A long-time resident, Ana appreciates the uniqueness of each of Toronto's neighbourhoods and the desire of communities to have a say in how they change.
