City Council direct that Confidential Attachments 1 to 5 to the report (May 15, 2019) from the City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Waterfront Toronto Board of Directors.

Candidates' biographies: Wende Cartwright Wende Cartwright is the President of Savira Cultural + Capital Projects. She has an extensive background in capital project planning, community development and placemaking for clients across North America. She was project director for the Globe and Mail Centre from 2011-2017 delivering the state-of-the-art media and event centre, led the Cultural Olympiad for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, and is currently at the helm of planning mixed-use development projects in Boston, Toronto, Halifax and Nunavut. In 2015 Wende was named by the Women's Executive Network as one of Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women. In 2019 she was recognized as an Urban Land Institute Women's Leadership Initiative Champion. Wende holds the Institute of Corporate Directors ICD.NFP certificate from the Rotman School of Management. Michael Galego Michael Galego is an executive, lawyer and corporate director with extensive M&A and corporate finance experience. Mr. Galego is currently CEO of Apolo Capital Advisory Corp. and sits on the board of directors of several public and private companies. Mr. Galego commenced his career at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP in the Business Law Department. He subsequently was legal counsel to several public and private companies operating in the resource sector in South America. Mr. Galego was a co-founder and director of ICC Labs (TSXV: ICC) until its sale to Aurora Cannabis Inc. (TSX:ACB) in November 2018. Mr. Galego holds an LLB. From the University of Windsor and a B.A. from York University. Mr. Galego has been on the board of directors of several not-for-profit organizations, including the Canadian Liver Foundation and Trillium Gift of Life Network. Jack Winberg Jack Winberg is educated in business and law and has worked in the land and land development industry for his entire career as both a lawyer and a developer. He is a native Torontonian who is passionate about putting forth an effort to contribute to the success of Toronto and help it continue to grow as a wonderful place for its residents to live, work and play.
