On the agenda

As the city filed it

Agincourt Recreation Centre has been a significant part of the community supporting community programming, space and social connections. The recent fire at the community centre has been a tremendous loss for the residents of Ward 23 and the city at large. Staff in both Toronto Fire Services, Parks, Forestry and Recreation, Toronto Water, Corporate Services and Insurance and Risk Management were successful in preventing loss of life, injury and mitigating further damage through their outstanding efforts during and following the emergency.

Residents are thankful to them for that. Now it is time to prepare for the centre's repair/reconstruction and to implement a service relocation plan which I will communicate with residents at an upcoming Town Hall meeting.
