I am introducing a new business item to the September 5th, 2019 Economic and Community Development Committee agenda which includes a presentation of the hospital-based violence intervention program at the Tory Trauma Program Centre for Injury Prevention at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. The presenters are Ms. Brandy Tanenbaum and Dr. Avery Nathens. BRAVE (Breaking the Cycle of Violence with Empathy) is a new hospital-based violence intervention program in development at the Tory Trauma Program at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
