This staff report is about a matter for which the Etobicoke York Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Based on a petition received from affected residents on Brentwood Road North, it is recommended that parking be prohibited on both sides of Brentwood Road North between Wilgar Road and Lynngrove Avenue, from 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. This proposed parking prohibition will address the issue of excessive daytime parking on weekdays on this section of Brentwood Road North.

Staff also recommends that the existing "No Parking, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday" be amended to a "No Parking, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday" regulation on the east side of Brentwood Road North, between Birchview Boulevard and Wilgar Road, to reflect current signage posted on this section of road. In addition, staff recommends that parking be prohibited at all times on the west side of Brentwood Road North, between Wilgar Road and Birchview Boulevard, to reflect current signage on this segment of the street.

Etobicoke York Community Council prohibit parking from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the east side of Brentwood Road North, between Birchview Boulevard and Wilgar Road.
