Etobicoke York Community Council: 1. Reduced the speed limit to 30 km/h on Strathnairn Avenue, between Lonborough Avenue and Keele Street. 2. Authorized the installation of traffic calming (speed humps) on Strathnairn Avenue, between Lonborough Avenue and Keele Street 3. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter sections of the roadway on Strathnairn Avenue for traffic calming enhancement, generally as shown on Drawing EY19-033A and EY19-033B dated March 2019.

Polling ballots were mailed to the affected residents on May 16, 2019 and 36% of the residents on Strathnairn Avenue, between Lonborough Avenue and Keele Street, responded to the polling.
