The purpose of this report is to request authority to amend Purchase Order Number 6045014 issued following award of Tender Number 23-2017 to Mopal Construction Ltd. for carrying out the construction associated with Phase 2 Ramsden Park Revitalization. The total Purchase Order Amendment being requested is for an additional amount of $713,914.69 net of all applicable taxes and charges ($726,479.59 net of HST recoveries).

This amendment is required to implement the recommendation of the Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee to redesign the integral staircase and ramp to be a separate ramp and staircase with continuous railings. Funds have been identified in the Interim Parks, Forestry and Recreation 2019-2028 Capital Budget and Plan.
