City Council on January 30 and 31, 2019, adopted the following: 1. City Council appoint Councillor Jennifer McKelvie, Ward 25, Scarborough, Rouge-Park, to the Board of Health, for a term of office until December 31, 2020 and until a successor is appointed.

The purpose of this Motion is to appoint a Member of Council to the Board of Health for the 2018-2020 Committee term. The composition of the Board of Health is six Members of Council, six public members, and one education representative. Currently, only five Members of Council have been appointed to the Board. This Motion is urgent in order to continue to conduct business at subsequent Board of Health meetings.

Councillor Joe Cressy, seconded by Deputy Mayor Denzil Minnan-Wong, recommends that: 1. City Council appoint Councillor Jennifer McKelvie (Ward 25, Scarborough, Rouge-Park) to the Board of Health, for a term of office until December 31, 2020 and until a successor is appointed.
