The Board of Directors of the Toronto Parking Authority: 1. Granted authority to award the construction contract for the electrical switchboard upgrades for Municipal Car Parks 29 (75 Holly Street) and 43 (C1) (2 Church Street) to Beckett Electrical Inc., having submitted the lowest bid and meeting all specifications in conformance with the construction tender requirements, in the amount of $363,500 plus $16,500 as a contingency allowance, being the sum total amount of $380,000 net of all taxes and charges.

A tender package, including all technical requirements, material, and labour for the electrical switchboard upgrades, was prepared by AECOM, as previously approved by Purchase Order Numbers 37520 and 38014. AECOM tendered the work on behalf of the TPA to six pre-qualified general contractors in March 2019. The call closed on April 26, 2019 and two bids were received and considered as listed below in the ascending order (amounts shown not including HST).
