City Council amend the existing westerly southbound right-turn only lane designation on Kingston Road, between St. Clair Avenue East and a point 30.5 metres north, to be in effect on Kingston Road, between St. Clair Avenue East and a point 75 metres north, buses excepted.

This report recommends amending the by-law for the one-way traffic lane designation for the southbound right-turn lane on Kingston Road at St Clair Avenue East for right turns only to include a bus exemption for the new Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) buses that service the route at this intersection. The "Buses Excepted" signs will clearly define traffic lane usage, eliminate confusion, and reduce the potential for an incident as TTC vehicles continue to travel through in the southbound direction from the right-turn lane.
