The purpose of this report is to recommend that the speed limit on Midland Avenue, between St. Clair Avenue East and Kingston Road, not be reduced from 50 km/h to 40 km/h. Staff's review indicated that reduction of the speed limit to 40 km/h is not technically justified along this section of Midland Avenue.

Staff recommended

The Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services, recommends that: 1. City Council not reduce the speed limit from 50 km/h to 40 km/h on Midland Avenue, between St. Clair Avenue East and Kingston Road.
