The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Prohibited stopping at all times on the south side of Dundas Street East, between Hiltz Avenue and a point 20.7 metres west. 2. Rescinded the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the north side of Dundas Street East, between a point 35 metres east of Greenwood Avenue and Alton Avenue.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision, provided that it is not amended so that it varies with City Policy or by-laws. Transportation Services is recommending extending the existing stopping prohibition on the south side of Dundas Street East, just west of Hiltz Avenue. This is in response to concerns received by Councillor Paula Fletcher's office regarding sightline obstructions for northbound left turning vehicles at the intersection of Dundas Street East and Hiltz Avenue.

Staff recommended

The Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services, recommends that: 1. Toronto and East York Community Council prohibit stopping at all times on the south side of Dundas Street East, between Hiltz Avenue and a point 20.7 metres west. 2. Toronto and East York Community Council rescind the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the north side of Dundas Street East, between a point 35 metres east of Greenwood Avenue and Alton Avenue.
