The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Rescinded the existing maximum one-hour parking regulation in effect at all times on the north side of Elgin Avenue, between Avenue Road and Bedford Road. 2. Rescinded the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the north side of Elgin Avenue, between Avenue Road and a point 38.1 metres west. 3. Prohibited standing at all times on the north side of Elgin Avenue, between Avenue Road and a point 50 metres west.

Local residents requested amendments to the existing parking regulations on the north side of Elgin Avenue, west of Avenue Road. The intent of this amendment is to prohibit standing within close proximity to the intersection and surrounding driveways in order to improve sightlines for motorists. Transportation Services staff have been consulted and have no objection to the proposed amendment.
