Rescinded the existing parking machine regulation in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and from 1:00 p.m.

Directed the applicant to clearly consult and communicate all construction, parking and road occupancy impacts with local business improvement areas and resident associations in advance of any physical road modifications. 12. Directed the applicant to install appropriate signage and converging mirrors to ensure that pedestrians, cyclists and motorists safety is considered at all times. 13. Directed the applicant to create a publicly accessible website with regular construction updates and post the website address on the site. 14. Direct that Granby Street be returned to its pre-construction traffic and parking regulations when the project is complete.

Turner Construction Company is renovating a 13-storey affordable housing building owned by the Toronto Community Housing Corporation at 389 Church Street. The site is located in the north-east corner of Church Street and Granby Street.

The renovation is currently in progress, operating under a monthly Street Occupation Permit. Transportation Services is requesting approval to close the sidewalk and a portion of the westbound lane on the north side of Granby Street abutting the site to facilitate the redevelopment. The proposed construction staging area is being requested for a period of 15 months.
