On January 30, 2019 the Committee of Adjustment approved the application for variances at 878 Palmerston Avenue despite communications from the Manager, Engineering and Construction Services requesting that the owner make revisions to the plans to meet Ontario Building Code requirements for fire and safety access, as well as provide drawings showing a fire hydrant located within 45m as required by the building code. This Motion will authorize the City Solicitor to attend the TLAB in order to oppose the proposed variances and consent requested in the Applications.
