As the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) operates a transit service on Rogers Road, City Council approval of this report is required. Transportation Services is requesting approval to designate a School Bus Loading Zone on the south side of Rogers Road close to the school's entrance to provide a safe pick-up/drop-off area for students attending St. Nicholas of Bari Catholic School, located at 363 Rogers Road.

The Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. City Council rescind the existing maximum 15-minute parking limit in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the south side of Rogers Road, between a point 67 metres west of Bronoco Avenue and a point 37 metres west of Bronoco Avenue. 2. City Council designate a school bus loading zone to operate between the hours of 8:00 a.m.
