Directed the applicant to provide and install public art, including mural artwork, onto every elevation of the hoarding board with adequate spotlighting for night-time illumination, at their sole cost, to the satisfaction of the Ward Councillor. 11. EllisDon Corporation is constructing a 17-storey institutional building at the lands located at 11 and 33 Centre Avenue and 80 Chestnut Street. The site is bounded by an existing commercial building (55 Centre Avenue and 108-110 Chestnut Street to the north, Chestnut Street to the east, Armoury Street to the south and Centre Avenue to the west.

Transportation Services is requesting approval to close the east sidewalk and a portion of the northbound lane on Centre Avenue and the west sidewalk and a portion of the southbound lane on Chestnut Street, for a period of 24 months to accommodate construction staging areas. Pedestrian movements will be accommodated within the closed curb lanes.

The Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services, recommends that: 1. Toronto and East York Community Council authorize the closure of the east sidewalk and a 1.9 metre wide portion of the northbound curb lane on Centre Avenue, between Armoury Street and a point 102 metres north, from May 1, 2019 to May 1, 2021. 2.
