The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Approved the closure of the west sidewalk and southbound parking lane on Church Street, from The Esplanade and a point 49 metres further south of Church Street, from April 29, 2019 to August 31, 2020. 2. Rescinded the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the east side of Church Street, from The Esplanade to the south end of Church Street. 3. Rescind the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the west side of Church Street, from The Esplanade to a point 30.5 metres south and from a point 41.5 metres south of The Esplanade to the south end of Church Street.

4. Rescinded the existing car-share vehicle parking area on the west side of Church Street, from a point 30.5 metres south of The Esplanade to a point 11 metres further south (see below for agreement with Enterprise CarShare) 5. Prohibited stopping at all times on both sides of Church Street, from the Esplanade to the south end of Church Street. 6. Directed the applicant to post a 24-hour monitored construction hotline number on the hoarding board, which must be prominently placed and legible from 20 metres and on all elevations from the construction site. 7. Directed the applicant to pressure wash the construction site and adjacent sidewalks and roadways weekly, or more frequently as needed to be cleared of any construction debris and made safe. 11. Directed the applicant, in consultation with Transportation Services, to maintain any bike lanes, and install appropriate signage to inform drivers and cyclists of any changes to the cycling lanes. 12. In areas where no cycling lanes exist, directed the applicant, in consultation with Transportation Services, to install sharrow markings onto the roadway and display appropriate signage on the hoarding board to inform motorists and cyclist to safely share the road. 13. Directed the applicant to ensure that the existing sidewalks or the proposed pedestrian walkway have proper lighting to ensure safety and visibility at all times of the day and night. 14. Directed the applicant to clearly consult and communicate all construction, parking and road occupancy impacts with local business improvement areas and resident associations in advance of any physical road modifications. 15. Directed the applicant to install appropriate signage and converging mirrors to ensure that pedestrians, cyclists and motorists safety is considered at all times. 16. Directed the applicant to establish a construction management working group that meets monthly and invite local stakeholders including Transportation Services, Municipal Licensing and Standards, Toronto Building, adjacent neighbours, local resident groups, and local BIAs. 17. Directed the applicant to create a publicly accessible website with regular construction updates and post the website address on the site.
