The intersection of Broadview and Danforth is a busy intersection used by pedestrians, cyclists, cars and TTC streetcars daily. Immediately north of the intersection is Broadview Subway Station and to the west is the Bloor Viaduct. The intersection is busy with pedestrian and vehicular traffic throughout the day. Residents have expressed concerns about the safety of this intersection, particularly during the afternoon
