The decision
2019-04-24 · Toronto and East York Community Council · amended
As filed
The Toronto and East York Community Council directed: 1. Transportation Services to bring forward a report and accompanying by-laws implementing pay-and-display parking on Villiers Street between Don Roadway and Cherry Street.
On the agenda
As the city filed it
Villiers Street, in the Portlands, is an important site for jobs and employment in the East End. However due to a lack of parking regulations there is an issue with long-term parking and storage of vehicles. Implementing pay-and-display on Villiers will ensure that businesses have spots and cut down on long-term parking. I am asking you to support this request.
Staff recommended
Councillor Fletcher recommends that: 1. Transportation Services report to the Toronto and East York Community Council meeting on October 10th, 2019 on implementing Pay and Display parking on Villiers Street between Saulter Street South and Cherry Street.
