As the city filed it

In June 2019, I received a petition from residents and business owners on Pelham Avenue requesting parking changes on that street. According to business owners and residents, the demographics have changed and the lack of parking has been impacting clients and visitors that are trying to access the area. The requested changes are: the removal of the existing 'no parking' regulation, which is in effect between, 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the north side of Pelham Avenue, and the introduction of a one hour parking limit between, 8 a.m.

and 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the north side of Pelham Avenue. This change requires that permit parking operating hours end at 8 a.m. instead of 9 a.m. In the event that permit parking operating hours are reduced, Public Notice is required, hence the purpose of this motion.
