This staff report is about a matter for which Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision, provided that it is not amended so that it varies with City policy or by-laws. Transportation Services is recommending North York Community Council authorize that the existing pedestrian crossover (PXO) on Hawksbury Drive, immediately north of Bayview Mews Lane, be removed and replaced with all-way stop control at the intersection of Hawksbury Drive and Bayview Mews Lane.

Staff recommended

The Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services, recommends that North York Community Council: 1. Authorize removal of the existing pedestrian crossover on Hawksbury Drive, immediately north of Bayview Mews Lane. 2. Subject to approval of Recommendation 1 above, authorize the installation of all-way stop control at the intersection of Hawksbury Drive and Bayview Mews Lane in conjunction with removal of the pedestrian crossover on Hawksbury Drive, immediately north of Bayview Mews Lane.
