The North York Community Council: 1. Rescinded the existing parking prohibition in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Monday to Friday, on the east side of Oriole Parkway, between Elwood Boulevard and Willowbank Boulevard.

This staff report is about a matter for which Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision. Transportation Services is recommending that the existing parking prohibition, in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Monday to Friday, on the east side of Oriole Parkway, between Elwood Boulevard and Willowbank Boulevard, be rescinded. This will result in the unsigned statutory three hour limit being in effect at all times.

The proposed parking amendment will address residents' concerns regarding the lack of on-street parking in the morning by allowing parking for residents but will also allow parking for all motorists.

The Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services, recommends that: 1. North York Community Council rescind the existing parking prohibition in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Monday to Friday, on the east side of Oriole Parkway, between Elwood Boulevard and Willowbank Boulevard.
