The northern portion of the site, located at 2704 Yonge Street, was previously occupied by a funeral home, which was recently demolished. The applicants propose to demolish the existing 3-storey rental apartment building and redevelop the lands with a new 9-storey mixed-use building comprised of 127 dwelling units, of which 31 units would be replacement rental units. The tenure of the remaining 96 dwelling units in the proposed building has not been identified by the applicant. Retail uses are proposed to be located on the ground floor. Staff are currently reviewing the applications. The applications have been circulated to all appropriate agencies and City divisions for comment. Staff will proceed to schedule a community consultation meeting for the application with the Ward Councillor.
