Dear Chair and Members of the Toronto and East York Community Council, In February, the Toronto and East York Community Council considered a report from staff lowering speed limits from 50 km to 40 km on a number of streets and Transportation staff recommended Logan Avenue, Cherry Street, Sammon Avenue and Pretoria in Ward 14. These were approved. I now have the full list of streets in Toronto-Danforth that remain 40 and 50 kilometres per hour. I am requesting support from TEYCC for the following motion:
