Dear Chair and Members of Toronto and East York Community Council, Greenwood Avenue is a residential street between Danforth Avenue and O'Connor Drive adjacent to an elementary school and a local community park. It is also used by many commuting vehicles as a connection between the DVP and Danforth Avenue. I have heard from local residents that many vehicles coming off the DVP speed along Greenwood Avenue and that they have witnessed collisions due to this dangerous driving behaviour.

This motion aims to reduce cut-through traffic and speeding in order to make Greenwood Avenue safer for local residents.
