This Motion is in consideration for the area surrounding Harrison Street and Dovercourt Road which includes the first of two City of Toronto modular housing buildings. This property was used as part of the lot for the modular housing site but is no longer required. The community, including those now resident within the modular housing building, is in need of direct and meaningful investment in community benefits for residents and the proceeds of the sale of 50-54 Lakeview Avenue should be directed to improvements within the community since the lot is no longer required for the modular housing project.
