City Council on October 1 and 4, 2021, adopted the following: 1. City Council amend Zoning By-law 438-86, for the lands at 27 Grosvenor Street and 26 Grenville Street substantially in accordance with the draft Zoning By-law Amendment attached as Attachment 1 to the report (September 23, 2021) from the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning. 2. City Council amend Zoning By-law 569-2013, for the lands at 27 Grosvenor Street and 26 Grenville Street, substantially in accordance with the draft Zoning By-law Amendment attached as Attachment 2 to the report (September 23, 2021) from the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning.

3. City Council authorize the City Solicitor to make such stylistic and technical changes to the draft Zoning By-law Amendments as may be required. 4. City Council determine that pursuant to Section 34(17) of the Planning Act, as amended, no further notice is required in respect of the proposed amendments to the Zoning By-law.

On May 5 and 6, 2021, City Council adopted the Final Report for the Zoning Amendment Application at 27 Grosvenor Street and 26 Grenville Street (Item TE24.10) which recommended approval of the application to amend the Zoning By-law to permit a mixed-use building with two towers, 32 and 46 storeys in height, connected by a shared podium. Since the Final Report, the need for additional relief from the zoning by-law has been identified to permit a temporary elevator to be used during construction of the mixed-use building at 27 Grosvenor Street and 26 Grenville Street.
