City Planning to schedule a community consultation for the application located at 954-958 Broadview Avenue and 72 Chester Hill Road in the upcoming months, in consultation with the Ward Councillor; to ensure notice for the meeting is circulated widely in the neighbourhood, in consultation with the Ward Councillor; and that accessibility resources be provided if requested and the applicant to cover the associated costs.

2. Notice for the community consultation meeting be given to landowners and residents within 120 metres of the application site, and to additional residents, institutions and owners to be determined in consultation with the Ward Councillor, with any additional mailing costs to be borne by the applicant. 3. Planning staff to thoroughly review the application with respect to the following: - Appropriate Height - Appropriate Density - Massing - Transition to the low rise neighbourhood to the south - Shadowing, - Privacy/overlook - Wind tunnel impacts - Noise from roof top mechanical - Enjoyment of greenspace - Parking - Traffic circulation and traffic safety - Storm water management - Impact on the ravine - Heritage considerations - Potential impacts on Todmorden Mills Park - Proximity to Broadview Station 2. Legal Services staff to attend the community consultation to clarify matters for the multiple appeals to Local Planning Appeals Tribunal (LPAT).

This report provides an update regarding the application at 954-958 Broadview Avenue and 72 Chester Hill Road. The land has been sold to a new landowner who has carriage of the application. The new landowner has submitted a proposal for a 16-storey mixed use development. Staff are currently reviewing this proposal. It has been circulated to all appropriate agencies and City divisions for comment. Staff recommend that a community consultation meeting for this new proposal be scheduled with the Ward Councillor.
