As the city filed it

Residents have reached out to my office to request the on street parking designation on Rosevear Avenue be amended so that parking is only available on the north side of the street. Rosevear Avenue is a local road with a speed limit of 30km/h. Currently on the north side there is no parking, except by permit, 12:01am - 7am daily in January, February, March, April, June, August, October, and December. On the south side there is no parking, except by permit, 11pm - 5am daily in May, July, September, and November.

Three hour maximum parking is in effect at all other times. By amending the parking designation so that permit parking is permitted on the north side of the street only, Traffic Operations have found this would result in seven additional parking spaces being made available to residents throughout the year. There would be twenty street parking spaces available to residents in total. My office polled the homes on the street and found over 80 percent of the residents were in support of making this change.
