Residents have reached out to my office with concerns about road safety and speeding along Oak Park Avenue. They have reported drivers speeding as they travel north from the Danforth, using Oak Park as a cut through to avoid busier streets. My office polled the homes near the intersection of Oak Park and Gates Avenue, and over 80 percent of residents supported changing the existing 2-way stop into an all-way stop as a method of traffic calming for the neighbourhood.
