Residents of Bloomfield Avenue have been in touch with my office regarding concerns about traffic making dangerous turns from Greenwood Avenue onto Bloomfield Avenue. A petition has been submitted to my office requesting measures to slow down cars as they make the turn onto Bloomfield Avenue. One block south, at Greenwood Avenue and Sandford Avenue, temporary curb extensions have helped slow down cars making high speed turns and provided some additional protection to pedestrians.
