As the city filed it

Dear Chair and Council Members, This motion is based on recommendations and actions taken by staff during previous years to address concerns permit parking residents have with parking accessibility due to the high volume of visitors to the Distillery and surrounding neighbourhoods during the annual Christmas Market (this year, renamed "Winter Village"). nearby permit parking residents will have improved parking flexibility throughout the Winter Village, and the Parking Enforcement Unit, Toronto Police Service, can effectively control long-term parking by non-residents through tagging and towing operations.
