On the agenda
As the city filed it
Completion of the City-owned site at 5200 Yonge Street to allow for a successful launch of the City-initiated Food Incubator Program there has experienced continued delays. Before it is appropriate to charge rent for the space, it should be fully ready to attract customers. Further steps, such as a plan to successfully market the program, collectively known as FLIP Kitchens, should also be in place. Because it was anticipated that the space would be fully operational at an earlier date, vendors signed agreements to provide payment for use of the space prior to it being ready.

Accordingly, these payments need to be delayed until a point at which the program is fully operational and the vendors have revenue from which to make their payments.
