The Nominating Panel - Compliance Audit Committee recommends that: 1. City Council appoint the following candidates to the Compliance Audit Committee for a term of office coincident with the term of Council that takes place following the 2022 regular municipal election: a. Sara Gelgor, as Chair; b. Lawrence D'Souza; and c. Ramin Faraji. 2. City Council waive the Public Appointments Policy restriction on multiple appointments with regard to the appointment of Lawrence D'Souza in Recommendation 1 above.

3. City Council appoint the following candidates to the Compliance Audit Committee as alternates in the order listed, for a term of office coincident with the term of Council that takes place following the 2022 regular municipal election, such appointments to be effective only in the event that any vacancies on the committee occur: 1. Jane Waechter; and 2. Joe Wong. 4. City Council direct that Confidential Attachments 1 to 5 to the report (May 9, 2022) from the City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety, as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Compliance Audit Committee.
