The Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Advisory Committee: 1. Endorsed the recommendations in the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, the Final Report of the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action and the City of Toronto's Confronting Anti-Black Racism Action Plan, which are directly applicable to the Strategic Vision and Work Plan of SafeTO.

2. Requested the Executive Committee to direct the Executive Director, Social Development, Finance and Administration to: a. apply a specific intersectional Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer lens to SafeTO: Toronto's Ten-Year Community Safety and Well-Being Plan; b. invite and involve community-based organizations to the Leadership Table and in the further development and implementation of the SafeTO plan, including but not limited to the Black Health Alliance, The 519 Community Centre, Toronto's Trans community organizations, and Gender-Based Violence organizations and to report back annually to the Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Advisory Committee; c. incorporate the Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Advisory Committee's feedback in the implementation of the SafeTO plan; and d. incorporate the applicable recommendations from the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, the Final Report of the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action and the City of Toronto's Confronting Anti-Black Racism Action Plan into the implementation of the SafeTO plan.

The Manager, SafeTO - Community Safety and Wellbeing Planning Toronto and Justice Centres, will give a presentation on SafeTO and the Year One 2022 Work Plan Priorities. SafeTO will work to bring about a safe Toronto that promotes and celebrates the well-being and resilience of all residents. SafeTO will drive 26 priority actions across seven strategic goals: reduce vulnerability; reduce violence; advance truth and reconciliation; promote healing and justice; invest in people; invest in neighbourhoods, and drive collaboration and accountability.
