Staff provide notice for the community consultation meeting to landowners and residents within 500 metres of the application site, and to additional residents, institutions and owners to be determined in consultation with the Ward Councillor, with any additional mailing costs to be borne by the applicant.

This report provides information and identifies a preliminary set of issues regarding the Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision applications located at 40 Eglinton Square (Metro lands). The proposal consists of two (2) development blocks, including one (1) block for public parkland purposes, and new streets. A total of three (3) buildings are proposed: one (1) mixed-use building and two (2) residential buildings) with heights that range from 13 to 30 storeys.

The existing one-storey commercial building (food store) would be demolished. Staff are currently reviewing the applications, which have been circulated to all appropriate agencies and City divisions for comment. Staff will proceed to schedule a community consultation meeting for the application with the Ward Councillor.
