Scarborough Community Council: 1. Rescinded the existing maximum one-hour parking regulation in effect at all times, on the east side of Rupert Street, between Parnell Avenue and the north end of Rupert Street.

Rupert Street is a small and quiet dead end street running north of Parnell Avenue. It currently has no parking on the west side, and a sign indicating one hour parking on the east side. The one-hour by-law was likely put into place pre-amalgamation. Residents of the street find it unnecessary, causing parking issues particularly on the weekends when they have guests. They have requested that the sign be removed, which would necessitate an amendment to the current by-law.
