Requested the Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services to assess vehicle speed on Port Union Road between Lawrence Avenue East and Bridgend Street and report back with their findings and any proposed traffic calming measures to Scarborough Community Council.

In response to Port Union Road safety concerns raised by residents, I am requesting that Transportation Services staff conduct a study of traffic calming measures on Port Union Road, south of Lawrence Ave to Bridgend Street. I ask that staff report back with proposed measures that align with the principles of the Vision Zero Road Safety Plan.
