Authorized the installation of a traffic calming island on the north side of Milverton Boulevard, between a point 117 metres east of Monarch Park Avenue and a point 4.3 metres further east. 2. Amended drawing "421G-2920", dated March 2018 with drawing "421G-3979", dated December 2021 as set out in Attachment 1 to the report (January 31, 2022) from the Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. In response to a request from Toronto and East York Community Council, Transportation Services reviewed the need for an additional speed hump on Milverton Boulevard, between Monarch Park Avenue and Coxwell Avenue. The review disclosed the existing speed hump installation is appropriate and additional speed humps are not required.

However, the review determined that a traffic island could be implemented mid-block on this section of Milverton Boulevard, to supplement the existing speed humps and to reinforce to motorists to reduce their speeds as they travel on this street.
