City Council direct the City Clerk to issue letters of municipal significance and non-objection to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario for the applications in Part 1 above.

The purpose of this report is to seek City Council direction on two requests received by the City Clerk's Office for municipal endorsement for temporary liquor licence extensions that do not meet the criteria of the delegated authority.

Staff recommended

The City Clerk recommends that: 1. Community Council decide whether to consider the following is an "event of municipal significance" under Chapter 27-18.4, Delegation to Community Councils: - Do West Fest; - OssFest 2. City Council decide whether to endorse application for extensions to licensed hours or areas for the establishments listed in Attachment 1 and direct the City Clerk to issue letters of municipal significance and non-objection to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
