The Agnes Macphail Recognition Committee met, as established in the Toronto City Council approved selection process, on Monday, February 7, 2022 to review the nominations received and to select this year's award recipient.

Requested Strategic Protocol and External Relations staff brief the three East York Councillors on the history of the Agnes Macphail award from the former Borough of East York and how it was transferred to the newly amalgamated City of Toronto; and request Strategic Protocol and External Relations staff to identify any challenges that may have arisen now that Strategic Protocol and External Relations has taken over the logistics and options for the Councillor's Office.
