The decision
2022-04-21 · Toronto and East York Community Council · adopted
As filed
The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Requested the General Manager, Transportation Services, to include the installation of pedestrian safety improvements in the upcoming road resurfacing of Sammon Avenue, including for the portion of Sammon between Linsmore Crescent and Coxwell Avenue.
On the agenda
As the city filed it
The Quiet Streets program that Transportation Services implemented for the past few summers has been very popular with residents. They have expressed an interest in having permanent improvements made to increase the levels of pedestrian safety and to preserve the sense of community that they experienced during the Quiet Streets program. Sammon Avenue is scheduled to be resurfaced between Pape Avenue and Linsmore Crescent in 2022. I am requesting support for including improvements as part of that project.

Councillor Fletcher recommends that the Toronto and East York Community Council: 1.
