The Toronto and East York Community Council directed: 1. Staff schedule a community consultation meeting for the applications located at 1233-1243 Queen Street West and 77 Leslie Street together with the Ward Councillor. 2. Notice for the community consultation meeting be given to landowners and residents within 120 metres of the application site, and to additional residents, institutions and owners to be determined in consultation with the Ward Councillor, with any additional mailing costs to be borne by the applicant.

3. Planning staff to circulate the application to the Housing Secretariat. 4. Planning staff pursue the inclusion of long-term affordable housing units that will be provided within the proposed development and include the number and size of the affordable units in the final report from City Planning. 5. Planning staff pursue a unit mix in the development that increases the number of family sized units with two (2) and three (3) bedrooms.

This report provides information and identifies a preliminary set of issues regarding the Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment applications for an eight-storey mixed-use rental building with 132 dwelling units. Staff are currently reviewing the application. The application has been circulated to all appropriate agencies and City divisions for comment. Staff will proceed to schedule a community consultation meeting for the application, in consultation with the Ward Councillor.
