The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Authorized and directed the Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services to install traffic control signals at the intersection of Front Street East and Frederick Street as soon as possible to enhance protections for vulnerable road users, especially school children, as part of Vision Zero.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services has reviewed the need for traffic control signals at the intersection of Front Street East and Frederick Street. Based on the assessment undertaken, Transportation Services does not recommend the installation of traffic control signals at this intersection as the warrant criteria was not met.

The Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. Toronto and East York Community Council not authorize the installation of traffic control signals at the intersection of Front Street East and Frederick Street.
