Requested the General Manager, Transportation Services, to conduct a traffic safety and liveability study for the Yorkdale-Glen Park neighbourhood and report back to North York Community Council with their findings and options for improving the liveability of the area, and for the study to include consideration of enhancements to: a. public realm b. tree planting c. boulevard enhancements d. traffic calming measures e. street lighting

Residents of the Yorkdale-Glen Park Neighbourhood have been experiencing a drastic change to their streets as a direct result of new developments in the area. The purpose of this motion is to ask City Staff to conduct a liveability study for the neighbourhood and report back on ways to improve the area for the residents. The findings from this study are particularly important as more development applications are submitted and approved by City Planning along the Dufferin corridor.
