The proposed development is consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement (2020) and conforms with A Place to Grow: Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe (2020). The proposal conforms to the applicable Official Plan policies and complies with the criteria in the City's Townhouse and Low-Rise Apartment Guidelines through a built form that is compatible with the existing adjacent uses. It will add a modest level of intensification to an underutilized property at the intersection of two Major Streets.
