On the agenda
As the city filed it
Durant Avenue and Judith Drive are two local roads located in a residential neighbourhood immediately south of O'Connor Drive. This intersection currently has a yield control in place. I have heard from residents who are concerned about traffic safety and have requested that the existing yield sign be changed to a stop sign. The installation of a stop sign at this intersection will improve traffic safety on Durant Avenue and Judith Drive. I hope you will support this recommendation.
Staff recommended
Councillor Fletcher recommends that the Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Rescind the existing yield control on Durant Avenue at the intersection with Judith Drive. 2. Authorize a compulsory stop control for northbound traffic on Durant Avenue at Judith Drive.
