In March of 2020, Toronto and East York Community Council directed Transportation Services to conduct a safety and operational review of Hallam Street, between Dufferin Street and Ossington Avenue. Temporary safety improvements for vulnerable road users and a long term vision for the future of Hallam Street were requested. Staff have examined traffic volumes, speeds, collision history, stop compliance and cycling facility
